I'm seeing all these short-term challenges coming out like crazy! It seems like everyone is hosting some type of six-week shred or shortcut challenge. I've NEVER been an advocate for short-term cuts, as they incentivize radical drops in consumption and excessive cardio. Rather, I want to play the long game and promote true health and well-being. That's why I'm hosting a challenge that runs 9 months long AND includes a reverse diet component!

This is not just a weight loss challenge, this is a total body transformation challenge. This is your chance to get in the best shape of your life for the coming months.  I will be with you the entire way pushing you in the gym and in the kitchen to make progress both physically and mentally. The workouts will not be easy. But nothing worthwhile ever came from being easy, so you will need to dig deep these next several months if you want a chance to WIN BIG! This is your opportunity to make yourself a priority and get in the best shape of your life! This is going to test you, your physical toughness, but more importantly, your mental toughness. And if you follow through, no matter what, you will WIN!

No matter what your goals, EVERYONE and ANYONE WORLDWIDE can participate in this challenge. The community will be picking both a male and a female winner for the best presentation and overall journey.  We can’t all be winners, but if you set your mind right, you have nothing to lose!

HOW TO ENTER & WIN

Be consistent!! I always say you don’t need the motivation to do the work; you just need discipline. Discipline will get you to the finish line. You will learn a lot about yourself over the next several months.

  • Sign up and become a member of THE TRIBE if you're not already!
  • Once in THE TRIBE, submit your STARTING PHOTOS via the provided link in the SAVAGE SHRED 2025 "circle."  Signing up for the challenge is free for Tribe members. This is separate from signing up to the Tribe.
  • Submit your STARTING PHOTO check-in when you start the prep
  • Submit your SHOW DAY PHOTO check-in during the last week of September 2025
  • Submit your FINAL REVERSE DIET PHOTO check-in by December 1st 2025
  • FINAL Submissions will be due NO later than December 1st 11:59pm CST.

HOW TO TAKE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO TAKING YOUR SUBMISSION PHOTOS:

Submit your STARTING pictures when you start the prep using the Challenge Sheet provided in the SAVAGE SHRED 2025 circle. Make sure to submit front, back & side photos!

Submit your PEAK pictures during the last week in September.

Submit your FINAL SUBMISSION photos by  December 1st at 11:59 pm CST.

 In ALL PHOTOS, you need to hold or post on the wall behind you the Photo Check-in Form with your name, current date, and current weight.

TIPS FOR TAKING PROGRESS PHOTOS:

  • Full Body (head to toes in full frame). DO NOT take photos in mirrors. Have someone else take them or get a tripod. The more seriously you take these, the more helpful they will be to you!
  • Use the Same Pose. You must have a full-body pose with front, side, and rear. Do the exact same pose for your before photo and your after photo. You can’t compare a relaxed pose to a flexing pose; they are not the same.

    -Front Pose: stand relaxed with arms at your sides

    -Side Pose: turn directly to the side with arms raised straight out in front or at your side (your choice)

    -Back Pose: stand relaxed with arms at your sides

    *Optional: Your Best Pose: You may choose to do a flexing photo for this. Either front double bicep or back double bicep. To show off your hard work.

  • Take your photos at the same time of day. Do them first thing in the morning so you have no variables and you can judge your progress weekly
  • 4 Take your photos in the same location, with the same lighting and a clutter-free background. Lighting is most important. Taking your photos at the gym under fluorescent lights is going to look very different than taking them at home in natural light. Find a nice natural light that is NOT too drastic. Natural light will give you more honest results. Find a plain blank wall in your house and always stand in the same location.
  • Wear the same outfit. Wearing the same outfit is helpful because when your body actually starts transforming, that outfit will start fitting you differently, which can be a great tool!

    -Females: bathing suit or sports bra and shorts or competition posing attire.

    -Males: shirtless and shorts or competition posing attire.

"I almost didn't sign up for the 6 Month Transformation Challenge. We had so much coming up in that 6 months. But then I realized, that is why I should. I need to truly make this my lifestyle and life is busy. And I am so glad I did. In this 6 months I learned so much about myself. I struggled not seeing results I wanted (scale) at first, but decided to trust the process. As I went through the phases I started to see so much change happening and the scale did start to move. I also found by having a challenge be 6 months it really did change habits. I no longer justify a sugary carb loaded treat to deal with stress or whatever other emotion. "First of all,
I have to say what an EPIC experience this entire transformation has been! And while the end result was certainly amazing, it was definitely NOT easy! While already being deep into a cut, I decided to jump into this challenge for 2 main reasons:
1 - to keep myself accountable, as I was nearing what I thought was my original finish line, and
2 - to really see what I was made of and see if I could push myself beyond whatever limitations I had placed on myself over the years.
 I come from a place of compulsive/binge eating and have yo-yo dieted over the years, losing and regaining the same weight over and over again. I'm so glad I found this lifestyle and way of eating!! Keto has literally saved my life and I can't thank the wonderful keto community enough for the support! The kind comments and uplifting spirit of everyone I've come into contact with since joining this community has been nothing short of amazing! I'm STILL so awestruck that I won!!!!  I was up against some of the best! Of course I wanted to win, everybody does, but that wasn't my main driver in this process. So, to get that validation that all my hard work and discipline paid off (figuratively and literally), is a major crowning achievement for me.
